Investigation after woman's body found in High Town

Police are investigating after the body of a woman was found inside a home at the Paths estate in High Town.

It is understood neighbours alerted police to the address in Berkeley Path, Luton, on Saturday, August 8.

A Beds Police spokesman said: "Shortly before 1.20pm, Bedfordshire Police officers attended a call for a concern for safety and found a body at the property.

"An investigation is ongoing into the circumstances of the death and a postmortem is taking place tomorrow."
