A teenage drug dealer from Luton has been jailed for three years after he was found possessing a stash of illegal drugs.
Jamal Woodcock, 18, of Ravenhill Way, was sentenced on Tuesday at Luton Crown Court to three years and four months imprisonment for possessing with intent to supply cannabis, crack cocaine, and heroin.
Woodcock was arrested in January after class B drugs were found at his address. He was bailed and a further warrant was carried out in July, during which class A drugs were found. Woodcock was then charged with both offences.
Det Con Richard Kittappa said: “We are pleased with the severity of the sentence that Woodcock has received and hope it acts as a deterrent for anyone who thinks that we do not take these types of crimes seriously.
“Taking drugs can ruin people’s lives, causing serious illness and even death, and it’s important therefore that we clamp down on those supplying them.
“We are committed to continuing to bring offenders such as Woodcock to justice.”
