Man armed with screwdriver threatened group of teenagers in Dunstable

Police are investigating after a man armed with a screwdriver threatened a group of teenagers at a skate park in Dunstable.

The suspect demanded the teenagers hand over the bikes during the incident in Grove Park, Dunstable at around 2.30pm on Thursday, July 9.

He is described as white, around 5ft 10ins and of medium build. He was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up and grey jogging bottoms.

The suspect arrived at the scene in a white Ford Transit-style van. No property was taken during the incident.

Detective Sergeant Ben Stone, investigating, said: “We would be keen to hear from anyone in or near the park at this time who may have seen this man, or can help us identify the van.

“This is clearly a concerning incident and we would urge anyone with information to come forward.”
