Officers investigating Covid-19 breach in Luton uncover suspected drugs den

Officers attended an address in Midland Road on Friday, March 12, and uncovered a suspected drugs den.

Substances believed to be class A and class B drugs were retrieved from the premises and a man has been arrested.

A Beds Police spokesman said: "On Friday, March 12, officers investigating a report of a possible breach of Covid-19 regulations at an address in Midland Road, Luton, recovered a number of items, believed to be class A and class B drugs.

"A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of drug offences and has been released under investigation.

"The investigation is ongoing.
