Police appeal after 18-year-old stabbed in the face in Lewsey Farm

Police are investigating after a teenager was stabbed in the face in Luton.

At around 11.55pm on Friday, April 9, police were called to reports that the man had been stabbed in Beadlow Road, near the junction with Purcell Road.

The 18-year-old victim suffered a stab wound to his face, and was taken to hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.

Detective Sergeant Ryan Barnes said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, and who may have information to help us establish the identity of the offender.

“This is all the information we are able to share at the moment, and want to reassure the public that we believe this was an isolated incident.”
