Robbers used weapons during raid on Luton house

A group of three men burst into a Luton house, threatened the occupants with weapons before robbing them.

The incident took place in Waldeck Road on Monday (February 20) between 9pm and 9.30pm.

At the time a group of people were staying at the address, when the men knocked at the door before barging into the property and threatening the group. The intruders, all described as black, then stole mobile phones and watches and left the property.

DC Dave Elias, investigating, said: “This was an upsetting robbery leaving the victims distraught. We are currently following a number of lines of enquiry and we are keen to speak with anyone who might have seen the men in the area of Waldeck Road, Cromwell Road or Brook Street.

“If you have seen anything suspicious in that area please get in contact with us with the information.”
