Two injured in serious Luton collisions


Police are appealing for witnesses after two pedestrians were seriously injured in traffic accidents in Luton yesterday.

At around 11.15am a pedestrian was involved in a collision with a black Peugeot 207 in Dallow Road, at the junction with Runley Road.

The man was seriously injured and taken to taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by air ambulance.

An incident involving a silver Honda Civic occurred just after 5pm in Wigmore Lane as an elderly man crossed the road by the junction with Croft Road. The man was taken to Luton and Dunstable Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Anyone who witnessed either incident or who has any information that could assist our investigation is asked to contact the police on 101.
