Two men charged with Class A drugs conspiracy in Luton after police sting

Two men have been charged with a Class A drugs conspiracy after a major police operation in Luton.

41-year-old Kudawashe Nhekede, of Arundel Road, and 37-year-old Zahid Asghar, of Douglas Road, have both been charged with conspiring to supply cocaine and heroin.

Nhekede was also charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin following yesterday’s (Tuesday) operation led by Bedfordshire Police’s serious and organised crime unit.

Both men appeared at Luton Magistrates Court this morning (Wednesday) where they were remanded into custody.

They are next due to appear at Luton Crown Court on August 24.
