Woman '˜touched inappropriately' outside Asda, Dunstable

A woman was sexually assaulted as she waited for a bus in Dunstable on Monday night.

Between 8.30pm and 9.15pm the victim was at a bus stop outside Asda in Court Drive when she was approached by a man who rubbed his groin and touched her inappropriately.

The offender is described as dark skinned, between 30 – 40 years old, around 5’2” tall, of average build, with black hair and cleanly shaven.

He was wearing a light blue bomber jacket with the hood up, dark blue jeans and a black rucksack.

Detective Constable Mandy Godfree, investigating, said: “This incident has understandably left the victim shaken, and we will not tolerate behaviour like this.

“We are keen to speak to anyone who might be able to help us with our enquiries. If you were at the bus stop at the same time as the offence, or if you have any information, please come forward.

“It’s really important we identify the offender so he is not able to strike again.”
