A professional theatre company has taken up residence at Luton Sixth Form College and is working with students to create their very own production.

Former College student Teresa Burns is one of the artistic co-directors of How it Ended. She met fellow director Eva Sampson while they were studying drama at university.

Teresa said: “It’s great to come back and do something like this – and there are such amazing facilities here now.”

The pair will be working with a mixed group of first and second year student.

Drama and theatre course manager Steve Crayon said the aim of the project was to create and devise something completely new which encompassed back stage roles as well as acting.

He added: “The piece will be dealing with issues of wellbeing and the challenges of being a teenager in the modern world. But they’ve got freedom to work in pretty much any style they want.”

It will be performed at the College next month and hopefully at the Luton Fringe,
