Did you see thief rob woman’s rucksack in Luton?


Police are investigating after a woman was robbed in Luton on Thursday evening.

She was walking along Dordans Road and had just crossed over to Filmer Road, at around 5.45pm, when she was approached from behind and pushed to the floor by a man.

He took her pink leather rucksack from her shoulders and ran back up Filmer Road towards Capron Road.

The man is described as Asian, of medium build, in his mid-twenties and around 5’7”. He is described as wearing a navy tracksuit top with a white stripe down the sleeves and navy tracksuit bottoms.

PC Brendan Street, investigating, said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who has any information about the person responsible for this incident. I would urge anyone with information to come forward.”
