Drop off your bike for Sue Ryder

Aldwyck Housing Group has donated five bikes to Sue Ryder to celebrate the launch of the charity's new bicycle donation drop offs in Luton.

Head of housing Tony Campbell and caretaker Darren Brown took them to the Lewsey Community Centre collection point.

Tony said: “We are delighted to help Sue Ryder continue its important work.”

All the bikes will be sent to HM Prison The Mount, to be refurbished as part of the Sue Ryder Prison Volunteer Programme (PVP).

The average resale value of an adult bike in one of the charity shops is £45, with children’s models fetching approximately £15. The money will go towards the cost of providing essential end-of-life services in the local area.
