Drugs Den in Luton shut down by police

Police officers in Luton have today shut down a house believed to be a drugs den.

A drugs warrant was executed in Raglan Close this morning and evidence was found of drugs use and anti-social behaviour.

Following an application to Luton Magistrates Court, a closure notice for the premises was issued this afternoon.

Sgt Richard Cunningham said: “We absolutely won’t tolerate drug use and anti-social behaviour so we’re really pleased that this warrant was carried out successfully and that the property has been closed down.

“Drugs ruin people’s lives and can have a serious impact on our local communities. Anyone with information about either drug use or anti-social behaviour is encouraged to get in touch with us so that we can carry out more closures such as this.”
