Emergency incident in Hatters Way in Luton

Officers from Beds Police, Beds Fire and Rescue Service and East of England Ambulance remain at the scene.

A Beds Fire and rescue spokesman said: "[We] are currently still in attendance at a multi-agency incident in Hatters Way, Luton.

"Crews from Dunstable and Luton are in attendance alongside partners at Bedfordshire Police and East of England Ambulance Service.

"A 35-year-old male is in care of the ambulance service and is being taken to hospital.

"There are still a number of appliances on scene, so there may be some traffic and therefore we suggest the public avoid the area for the time being."
