Luton Business Improvement District (BID) is supporting the council’s Christmas Market and will also be bringing Peter Rabbit and Paddington to the lights switch-on to entertain families, before the big light up at 6.15pm.

Cllr Rachel Hopkins, portfolio holder for culture, said: “This really is a family event not to be missed.

“It’s a great start to Christmas, with loads for children to do.

“Peter Rabbit and Paddington are very popular TV characters and will create a real buzz, so we are delighted that Luton BID have arranged for them to join us.”
