A grateful Luton mum is organising a family fun day at the Royal British Legion in Marsh Road.
Marie Smith said: “We’re raising vital funds for the hospital so it can continue to maintain its extremely important work providing life-saving care to sick and vulnerable children from all over the world.”
The family fun day takes place on Saturday, October 24 and starts with a five km charity walk at 10am.
A huge variety of stalls will be open from 12 noon and lots of activities are planned including face painting, tug-of-war and a disco.
In addition there’s a raffle with mega prizes, a guess-the-cake-weight and can-you-find-the-wine competitions and a charity auction. Refreshments will be available.
