ZSL Whipsnade Zoo is opening its gates at sundown to show families what its residents get up to after hours.

The attraction’s Big Night Out will also feature a packed evening of entertainment, with Caribbean steel bands, carnival dancers and Tanzanian acrobats storming the Mane Stage.

There’ll also be a feeding frenzy on the main lawn, before visitors can explore the zoo in a guided safari truck tour to witness the brown bears’ picnic and elephants’ night-time trunk walk.

On top of all that, kids and parents can embody their favourite zoo animal with onesies, face paint and masks on offer at the Transformation Station, where you’ll be transported to the wild through the green screen technology.

There are a limited number of half-price early bird tickets available for the event, which takes place from 6pm to 10pm on Saturday, June 21. Click here for more information and to book.
