Get involved as a parent carer

It was set up with the specific aim of involving parents of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities so they could have a real say in shaping services for the future.

Forum facilitator Tracey Gilson said: “We’re supported by a national charity called Contact a Family and are part of the national network of parent forums (NNPCF).

“We work in partnership with local education, social care and NHS services who are actively involved and are included in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of services accessed by children and families with special needs.”
