A FUNDRAISING race has been organised at the Ashridge Estate to raise money for the National Trust.

The five-mile run, named the Ashridge 5 Trail, has been organised by Dirt Running and will take place on Sunday, September 25. The race will begin at 10.30am and costs £12 for affiliated club members or £14 for unaffiliated members.

Entrants will have every reason for getting up early on a Sunday morning as the race takes place at the picturesque Bridgewater Monument and all finishers will receive a medal and event T-shirt.

The visitor centre and café will provide a great family day for supporters and participants alike. The number of participants is limited so book early.
