The Hatters led through James Collins' 23rd minute goal and held on to secure a first clean sheet since mid-October as they moved off the bottom of the table. See below for how the Town players rated on the night.
5. Sonny Bradley: 7.5
Back in the side after missing out with injury and his added height saw Town able to cope with the threat of Wickham. A first clean sheet for almost four months will be of particular delight to the captain.
6. Glen Rea: 8.5
His return has given Town that edge they had been missing all season in midfield. Wins the ball back so many times and gets through all the ugly work, while still found time to test Dawson from 20 yards as well.
7. Ryan Tunnicliffe: 8.5
Deserves huge praise his ability to bounce back from what happened at the weekend. Looked back to his early season form as he got stuck in, almost scored and gave absolutely every ounce of energy to the cause.
8. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 8.5
Made some driving runs forward, as he was tugged back inside the opening 20 seconds for the penalty. Always a threat when driving at the Owls defenders, while didn't neglect his defensive duties either.
