Sarah Coulthard from the hospital said: “It was incredible to be selected as Aldwyck Housing Group’s charity of the year.

“The staff have done a brilliant job in all their fundraising efforts.

“The money they raised will enable the unit to buy two breast pumps to help new mums express milk for their babies.

“Breastfeeding is a critical part of the bonding process between mum and baby but it is extremely difficult for NICU mums to do because their baby is so poorly.

“A huge thank you to Aldwyck Housing Group and all its staff for choosing to support the NICU Appeal.”
