Hundreds raised in Leigha's memory

Luton and Dunstable hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit received a donation of £1553 from a fundraiser held in the memory of Leigha Edwards, who passed away in 2013.

Her friends and family organised the event to celebrate her life and raise money for the NICU. Leigha’s mum, Paula Embleton, was joined by Linda Sarrington and her daughter Destini to present the cheque.

Linda said: “We were all proud to present the cheque in Leigha’s memory, knowing that it is going towards such a worthy cause.

“We would like to thank everyone who contributed and attended and for their continued support in making this another successful event.”
