Icy conditions cause travel chaos
Overnight snow has left Luton grid locked as thousands of people attempt to travel to work on icy roads.
The latest travel news for A1 (M) Bedfordshire, northbound at junction 10, the exit slip road is closed and queueing traffic northbound at J10 A1(T), because of an accident and recovery work. There is also congestion on A507 Arlesey Road to the A6001 Hitchin Road junction.
On the A5 High Street North Dunstable, severe congestion both ways at A505 Church Street because of a traffic light failure and congestion to the B4540 Lynch Hill junction and to the A505 junction.
The A5228 Stockingstone Road Luton also has heavy congestion both ways at Hitchin Road is blocked at the Hitchin Road junction because of vehicles stuck in the road.
