An Islamic charity night in Luton has raised over £10,000 towards helping third world countries access clean drinking water.

Minhaj Welfare Foundation held the Raising Smiles 1017 charity event on Sunday, February 12 at Luton Library Theatre.

The event was attended by hundreds of people from Luton and beyond, with special guests Zain Jerry from Accrington, Milad Raza Qadri from Glasgow, Shahbaz Hassan Qadri from Manchester and Minhaj Naat Group (MNG) from Paris, France.
