Join Tesco for a coffee and cake

They are inviting the community to the Peter Newton Pavilion, behind Tesco, for a selection of cakes and coffee, from 10.30am till 3pm.

Karen Linley, Tesco’s area community champion, said: “The community are welcome to come along and have coffee and cakes with friends and family.”

The store is also hosting a cream tea lunch which includes a selection of sandwiches and cakes for £5.

Karen added: “We will be serving all refreshments in traditional vintage china and cake stands.

“Due to the success of previous cream tea events, we would like to invite our customers and community to join us and enjoy.”
