Keech ‘a credit to local community’
Lord Lieutenant Helen Nellis visited the hospice last week and was full of praise for the organisation which celebrated its 21st anniversary last year.
She said: “It’s amazing to see how the hospice helps so many local families.

“Keech Hospice Care is a leading charity in Bedfordshire and a credit to the local community who support it so strongly.”
The Lord Lieutenant was shown around by chief executive Mike Keel, who said: “We feel very honoured that the Queen’s representative in Bedfordshire was able to visit the hospice.
“We love showing off our great facilities and were pleased she was able to see the work that the team does here.”

Hide AdMs Nellis incorporated her visit with the presentation of a commission to former High Sheriff Jack Sapsworth. He is now one of her deputies.
The popular Luton businessman has been involved with Keech since its inception.
