“These include broadcasting, technical, administration, communication, fundraising, ward visiting and many more.

“If you’re over 18 and would like to be part of a fun team helping your local community in a professional environment, email [email protected] or follow the membership link on our website.”

The station – a registered charity – broadcasts a mix of music, entertainment, chat programmes, news and weather with an emphasis on the hospital and surrounding area.

Barbara said: “Our schedule includes request programmes and specialist shows featuring a wide range of music such as Richard Todd’s Classic Retro countdown, Mellow Moments with Andy Saunders and Gary Jackson’s My Generation.”
