Luton in Harmony will be providing entertainment on the stage from 12noon and there will be special guest appearances from Peter Rabbit and Paddington from 2.30pm before appearing at the big light-up at 6.15pm.

Diane Quick, BID director and centre manager of The Galaxy Centre said: “The additional entertainment Luton BID organises at Christmas always results in crowds of smiling faces and we are sure that this year will be no different.

“Peter Rabbit and Paddington are popular TV characters and will create a real buzz at the lights switch-on so we are delighted to be able to continually support Luton Borough Council at this event.

“We are also thrilled to be involved in the new Christmas Market which will be sure to draw more visitors and shoppers into the town centre during the busy festive period.”
