Matthew is white with a large build, blond short hair, a pale complexion and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a grey round-neck t-shirt, black jogging bottoms, a black waterproof jacket with thin white lines on it and black Nike training shoes.

PC Darran Walker said: “We know Matthew has friends and family living thoughout the county including in the towns of Luton, Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard. It is possible that Matthew is staying with family or friends and these people may not be aware that any person allowing him to reside in their care is committing an offence of Harbouring a Child that is an arrestable offence for which they could face a term of imprisonment.”

Anyone who has seen a child matching Matthew’s description is urged to contact the police.
