Luton man charged with Chapel Street robberies, and possessing sharp article offences

A man from Luton was charged yesterday (Wednesday) with two counts of robbery and two counts of possessing a knife blade or sharp article in a public place.

Paul Grant, 32, of Havelock Road, Luton, was charged in connection with two robberies which took place in Chapel Street on 30 and 31 October.

He has been remanded in custody pending a hearing at Luton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
