Luton town centre chaplaincy celebrates its fifth anniversary this Autumn and will be holding events to mark the occasion.
The Christian organisation sends chaplains into the community to talk to people and build bridges of understanding between different faiths.
Michael Campbell, senior chaplain, said: “We are really looking forward to the celebrations, this week it is with the stakeholders and next week it is with the community.
“People like to come and talk to our chaplains because we are always there to listen and everything is spoken in confidence, we are the ears of the town.
“Over the five years we have gone from strength to strength, the chaplaincy has grown and developed.
“The demand is growing and we are looking for more chaplains.”
