M1 closed after early morning road crash
THE M1 remains closed to traffic this morning after a lorry driver was killed in a crash in the early hours of this morning.
The motorway has been closed since shortly after 4.30am after the incident between junctions 12 and 13 on the Northbound carriageway.
The road is expected to be closed until at least midday so that a crash investigation can be carried out.
A spokesman for Beds Police advised drivers to avoid the area.
