M1 reopen after lorry crash
THE M1 motorway has now reopened following a lorry crash this morning.
The northbound carriageway had been closed completely since the incident which involved two lorries and happened shortly after 4.30am between junction 12 and 13.
The driver of one of the lorries was killed in the crash.
The carriageway was closed so that a crash investigation could be carried out.
Although the carriageway is now open, police are warning motorists that some diversions may still be in place.
