Man arrested after armed police execute warrant in Luton's Jubilee Street

After armed police carried out a warrant in Jubilee Street, Luton, a 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm to another man at an address in Hastings.

Armed police were called out to a breaking incident in Luton’s High Town on Monday evening (November 26).

Around four armed police units were present in Jubilee Street before stepping down.

A police presence remained at the scene during the evening while their enquiries continued.

A Bedfordshire Police spokesman updated the Luton News today.

He said: “Following a warrant executed at an address in Jubilee Street, Luton yesterday (Monday), a 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm to another man at an address in Hastings, Sussex.

“He has been taken to a Sussex custody centre to be interviewed.”
