Man dies in severe Luton house fire
A man has died after a severe house fire in Luton last Friday.
The grim discovery was made on Friday, May 6 as Beds Fire and Rescue Service responded to a house fire in Maple Road West Luton.
The house – a 3 bedroom mid terraced home – was ruined with 50% fire damage and 75% smoke damage.
Three pumps attended at the scene. Police and ambulance also attended.
A fire investigation is now underway but it is understood it is not being treated as suspicious.
