Man found not guilty of kidnapping and assaulting woman in Luton
A man accused of kidnapping and falsely imprisoning a woman in Luton has been found not guilty after a trial by jury.
The prosecution had alleged that Kamaljit Singh, 28, had slapped the woman and ushered her into his car, taken her to his home and sexually assaulting her.
But Mr Singh, of Wickstead Avenue, was acquitted yesterday of all four charges following the trial by jury.
