Man's terror after being threatened with machete in Luton

Police are investigating after a man was threatened with a machete in Luton on Tuesday.

At around 5pm, the victim was walking along Grosvenor Road when he was approached by three men, one of which was carrying the weapon.

The man managed to get away and the offenders fled in the direction of Runfold Avenue.

All three of the culprits are described as Asian, two of medium build and one of large build,

Detective Constable Jag Dhillon, investigating, said: “This was a very frightening incident for the victim, and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch with us.”
