"We are incredibly proud to be supporting the NHS to deliver Covid-19 vaccinations – our stores are conveniently located and accessible.

"We look forward to welcoming patients over the coming days and weeks.”

Dr Sarah Whiteman, chair of the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes CCGs, added: “This new pharmacy-led vaccination centre will help to give local people even more choice of where to get their jab.

"If you are eligible for the vaccine please do come forward, and ensure you take up your second dose when the time comes to make sure you receive full protection.”

Patients will be invited directly by the NHS to book their Covid-19 vaccination appointment at the Boots Luton Mall pharmacy.
