New Covid-19 vaccine centre to launch in Luton's The Mall

Boots UK is launching a Covid-19 vaccination site in Luton s The Mall with a specially designed facility for patients in store from Saturday, April 3.
Boots pharmacists will administer the Oxford-AstraZeneca jab as the retailer continues its partnership with NHS England to help vaccinate the nation.

Hide AdNick Sunderland, programme director for vaccines at Boots, said: “Our pharmacy team in Luton are hugely excited by the opportunity to help their local community by offering the Covid-19 vaccine in store.
"We are incredibly proud to be supporting the NHS to deliver Covid-19 vaccinations – our stores are conveniently located and accessible.
"We look forward to welcoming patients over the coming days and weeks.”
Dr Sarah Whiteman, chair of the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes CCGs, added: “This new pharmacy-led vaccination centre will help to give local people even more choice of where to get their jab.

Patients will be invited directly by the NHS to book their Covid-19 vaccination appointment at the Boots Luton Mall pharmacy.
