The Three Nations protest rally has been organised by Sonia McColl OBE, founder of the Park Home Owners Justice Campaign.

Peter Motson, who has lived at Brickhill Park in Pepperstock for nearly five years, will be at the protest hoping to convince the MPs to review the commission charge.

In his time at Brickhill Park he has seen 17 new homes built and eight more are currently being built.

He said: “I am going to protest because these problems affect me and everyone else in the park, we are hoping to convince the MPs to get a review.

“Our State Pensions increase each year by CPI, whereas pitch fees increase annually by RPI in England and Scotland.

“That was changed three years ago to CPI for park homes in Wales, we want this to be changed to CPI for us as well.

“We want the 10% commission penalty abolished and the pitch fee to be changed from RPI to CPI, like it is in Wales.

“This is our chance to call for a full review of what is an unwarranted 10% commission and for us to be treated equally, like in Wales.

“We call upon this government to fulfil their promise to protect us, by changing our pitch fee increases immediately to CPI and to abolish or significantly reduce what can only be described an exit penalty.”

Christopher Chope OBE, chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Park Homes will accompany Sonia and the Park Home owners to present the petition at Portcullis House in Westminster.

A spokesperson for Number 10 Downing Street confirmed there was a protest on Tuesday but could not comment further.
