Pedestrian '˜critical but stable' after collision with car in Luton

Police investigating the collision between the woman, who is in her 50s, and a grey Audi A3 Sport are appealing for witnesses.

The incident took place at approximately 9.20pm along Dunstable Road.

The woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment, where she remains in a critical but stable condition.

PC Jackie Lister, investigating the incident, said: “It is likely there were many people in the area at this time who could have seen what happened, or who noticed either the woman or the vehicle prior to the collision taking place.

“We are keen to hear from anyone with any information in order to establish the circumstances behind this incident.”
