Series Two of the Chase spin-off concluded yesterday (Sunday) and viewers were stunned to see Esnart Membe miss out on the coveted cash prize.

Asked which classic Disney cartoon film focuses on cats in Paris, Esnart answered 'Aristocrats' instead of 'The Aristocats'.

After the show, social media users were rife with indignation on Esnart's behalf.

Luke posted on Twitter: "Esnart was robbed blind on that Aristocats question. If I was her I'd be straight down citizens advice. #BeatTheChasers."

Fellow Twitter user, Georgia, tweeted: "Esnart was robbed of that! She got the answer right. #BeatTheChasers."

And another person, Mark, tweeted: "Wow #BeatTheChasers - that was harsh on Esnart. Aristocats...? You knew what she meant."
