Beaverbrooks Luton celebrates Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's 10th wedding anniversary by giving Williams and Kates a chance to win £100 gift card

A Luton jeweller is giving away a free £100 gift card tomorrow - but only if your first name is Kate, Catherine, William or Will and you're first in the shop to claim the prize!

To celebrate the Duke and Duchess’ 10-year wedding anniversary, Beaverbrooks, which has a store in The Mall, is joining the celebrations by handing out the card to someone who shares the same name as one of the royal couple.

In celebration of the royals’ 10 years of marriage, all Kate and William namesakes will have to do is be the first person to come into store on Thursday, April 29, after it opens at 9am and show suitable identification to a member of the store team.

The family-owned jeweller will be handing out thousands of pounds worth of gift cards throughout the day at its stores across the UK, but with a limited number available, it is advising people to be quick if they want to get their hands on something sparkly.

Amanda Nolan, store manager at Beaverbrooks Luton, said: “Kate and William’s special day was the most talked about wedding of the century! Celebrating 10 years of marriage is such a brilliant milestone, so what better way to celebrate than by giving away £100 worth of jewellery to namesakes of the special couple?

“From fine and fashion jewellery, to designer watches and diamonds, we’ve been celebrating love stories for over 100 years and hope that anyone in Luton lucky enough to share their name with the Duke and Duchess will be able to choose something beautiful they can treasure forever.”

Acceptable forms of photographic ID include a driving licence, valid passport and formal ID Cards (armed forces, police, student union, company ID card). Gift cards will be handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis and must be redeemed on Thursday 29 April 2021. Individuals applicable for the gift card will be those whose first names are either William, Will, Kate or Catherine. The store manager’s decision is final.
