Bra-vo to Vivienne for standing up to '˜trolls'

A Luton woman who was abused by online trolls after appearing on ITV's Take Me Out is standing up to the haters by making it to the Top 10 of Curvy Kate's Star in a Bra competition.

The brand, who have never used professional models, celebrate an ‘open to all’ entry policy by calling on customers to star in all their campaigns to promote a positive approach to body image.

Vivienne Long, 25, who works as a match day hostess for Luton Town Football Club has always been confident about her body and the way she looks, however when she took part in Paddy McGuiness’s ITV show, Take Me Out, she began to question how happy she was with her body after receiving harsh criticism online.

Vivienne, from Sundon Park, said: “After the show it made me question myself and my figure and whether I should change myself based on others opinions. Luckily I decided against this option and instead chose to embrace what I have.

“I love to see women with similar bodies to myself being so confident and looking beautiful. I entered Star in a Bra, because the Curvy Kate models give me inspiration and confidence and I would like to the do the same for someone else.”

The public can vote for their favourite from now until August 23 at starinbra.com. The winner will take away a modelling contract with Bridge Models, star in a Curvy Kate’s latest campaigns and receive a cash prize.
