Flurry of live entertainment planned in Luton's The Mall for St Patrick's Day

On Sunday, March 15, families are invited to head down to Smith’s Square in The Mall and enjoy performances from superb singers and musicians, as well as two school choirs and award-winning performers from Irish dancing schools.

The live entertainment will see acts take centre stage from 10.30am to 3.30pm, with Diverse FM’s DJ Jim Carway hosting the event to amuse families and shoppers in The Mall.

Lavinia Douglass, marketing manager at The Mall Luton, said: “We’re thrilled to be working alongside the Luton Irish Forum once again, celebrating St Patrick’s Day and welcoming a number of talented acts here to The Mall’s stage.

"The live entertainment will start from 10.30am on Sunday 15th March in Smith’s Square and families are invited to head down to enjoy music, dancing and much more.”

The Mall stage lineup is as follows:

> 11:00am - The Wilsons Show – rock ‘n’ roll, country & party hits

> 11.30am - The Walshe Academy of Irish Dancing

> 12:00pm - The Tiersha Academy Irish Dancing

> 12:25pm - Murphy Flaherty School of Irish Dancing

> 12:55pm - Cardinal Newman School Choir

> 1:20pm - Finbarr Conway Academy of Irish Dancing

> 1:50pm - St Martin De Porres Primary School Choir

> 2:15pm - Luton Ukimaniacs – ukulele Band

> 2:45pm - Galway & Sligo Trad Group – traditional Irish music and dancing
