Luton businesswoman wins award after inventing vertical cooking tool

A Luton businesswoman is celebrating a golden success just four years after setting up her own business.

Veebha Parmar from mySpike Ltd, won Gold for Best Product at the Best Businesswomen Awards which seek to find the very best female business talent from across the UK and Internationally.

Her invention, the mySpike vertical cooking tool is purpose made and designed for use in the oven or barbecue, for the perfect homemade chicken shawarma, kebab, doner, jacket potatoes, roast, or anything you can spike.

There is also a mySpike range of ready to use seasonings you can cook up the perfect tasting meal quickly.

Speaking after the awards night at the Hilton Wembley, Veebha said: “To be selected as a finalist was a win in itself BUT then to go on and be selected as the WINNER for Best Product is just amazing!!! Thank you to everyone who made this possible from the beginning”.

The Best Businesswomen Awards are designed to recognise the achievement of female owned businesses and charities across a wide range of business categories and are open to any female business owners.
