Luton country singer releases new single ahead of Kaiser Chiefs gig
A country and pop singer from Luton has released her latest single ahead of a performance as the support act for Kaiser Chiefs at the ‘Party in the Park’ gig.
Olivia Lynn, 20, has been singing since she was four years old, and had her debut at Putteridge Primary School when she sang her rendition of ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’.

It was her Nana’s love for artists like Shania Twain and Dolly Parton that got her hooked on that country sound, which she combined with her love of pop tunes.
Now, she has unveiled her newest song, Little Miss Nightmare, which has already reached number 64 on the country iTunes chart.
She said: “Releasing new music never gets any less exciting.
“As a country pop artist from Luton, I’m passionate about putting my hometown on the map for all the right reasons and showing that great stories can come from anywhere.”
Her family are behind her, pushing for the track to reach number one.
Her mum, Peri, said: “I’ve watched Liv believe in herself when it was hard, keep going when others would’ve given up, and pour her heart into every song.
“Seeing her release her music, particularly Little Miss Nightmare, is a dream come true - not just for her, but for me too.
"It just goes to show that hard work really pays off.’
Olivia, who is a single mum to a little girl, performed at the O2 for the Country to Country festival in March of this year.
Luton is gearing up for a huge celebration marking 150 years of the town’s borough status, with preparations underway for the day-long festival in Stockwood Park on September 12, from 2.30pm to 10pm.
Rock band Kaiser Chiefs will headline, and Luton’s very own Olivia Lynn has been asked to be one of the support acts.
She said: “This little Lutonian country pop girl is not only singing to 10,000 people in my home town with my wonderful band, but we are supporting some of the greatest bands in music… how on earth has this happened!!”
