A mum and carer from Bramingham has shared her inspirational story of losing three stone in six months, and is encouraging others to do the same.
As a carer for her 17-year-old daughter, Katie, who has cystic fibrosis, Sarah had struggled to fit in the hospital beds because to her size.

She returned to Slimming World’s Bramingham branch, determined to shed the weight for good. Despite lengthy stays in hospital with Katie, Sarah resisted
comfort foods and decided to fill up on healthy snacks.
She said:“ I love that I can still eat so much food… even roast dinners! I just had to be organised taking stuff in to the hospital with Katie that was all.”
Not only has Sarah’s confidence built, the pain in her joints has subsided. She explained: “I sleep so much better, I feel healthy and I have so much energy now! I feel ready to help others too.”
