Masked ball for charity

Amanda Cook, 26, of Dunstable, is hoping to raise as much money as possible for two charities close to her heart.

She said: “Both charities do fantastic work! The Alzheimer’s Society not only helps with research and trying to find a cure but also giving much needed support to sufferers and their families.

“Working at the hospital, I regularly see the affects of Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia on the sufferers and their families.”

The money raised on the night will be split between the two charities.

Keech Hospice Care gives support to children and adults with life limiting illnesses.

Amanda said: “Keech truly do amazing things for people and need the funds to enable them to keep providing the magnificent care they give.

“The Hospice would not function without the help of donations.”

There will be a live auction, a pedalo hire, tombola and games on the night.

The Masquerade ball will be at Woburn Safari Lodge at 7pm and tickets are £25.
