The Hatters Cup is the biggest youth football tournament in the UK.

And this year it has a new sponsor – Dunstable-based kitchen company K2GO.

Managing director Graham Bourne – a life-long Hatters fan – said: “I was born in Houghton Regis and that’s where our offices and factory are based, so Luton Town Football Club has always been the team we support.

“We’re passionate about the local community and want to encourage young people to take part in the sport.”

It’s all happening at Luton’s Kenilworth Road on the weekend of May 16 and 17.

More than 50 schools and clubs from across the three counties will be entering teams.

Competition is fierce, both on and off the field, as the stands are filled with proud parents.

LTFC spokesman David Hoskins said: “The Hatters Cup is one of the highlights of the year and we’re always on the lookout for the stars of tomorrow.”
