Signposts praises its clients and staff

The achievements of clients and staff at Signposts were celebrated on Friday.
MP Gavin Shuker and Bedfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner Olly Martins were guests of honour at the awards evening at Futures House.
Signposts provide shelter for homeless people in the area, while creating opportunities for them to get involved in community projects.
A panel of clients, staff and trustees decided who won the awards.

The winners on the night were: Extra Mile Award – Phyl Rainey, Most Creative Award – Signposts PR Team, Most Improved Award – Claire Perrins, Champion Campaigner Award – Roger Gluch, Morale Booster Award – Sabrina De-Lorenzo, Outstanding Teamwork Award – Team Signposts planning team, People’s Choice Award – Sabrina De-Lorenzo.
Members of the Luton Rotary Club were awarded a Friends of Signposts award on the evening for their continued support of the charity.

Kevin Porter CEO at Signposts, said: “Our first annual Signposts Awards Evening gave us a much-needed opportunity to say congratulations to some of the people who do so much in the organisation.

“At Signposts we encourage our clients to take part in community projects and they all collectively work very hard to benefit the local community. Our clients also took a lead role in organising our Awards Evening and it was testament to their hard work how much of a success the night was.”
